Loki's Lute (ロキの竪琴, Roki no Tategoto?), also known as Loki Harp and Loki's Harp, is a recurring weapon in the series. It is usually the most powerful instrument, even stronger than the Apollo Harp, though there are exceptions, and is usually the best weapon for Bards.

Final Fantasy III
Template:Sideicon Loki Harp is the second available harp, providing 60 Attack and +5 Mind. It can be found in Duster or in the Sunken Cave. The Bard will use the Minuet casting Haste on the party.

Description
Loki's Lute is the most powerful weapon for Edward in the Advance and The Complete Collection versions. It is found in the Lunar Ruins, and provides 150 Attack, 49 Accuracy, and +15 Strength, Stamina, and Agility. The weapon is bugged in the North American and Japanese releases, and has no multipliers applied. The bug was fixed in the second Japanese release and the European port.

Template:Sideicon Loki's Harp is the most powerful weapon for Edward. It is found in the Depths after defeating Beelzebub, and provides 98 Attack, 40% Accuracy, and +10 Strength, Stamina, and Speed.

Template:Sideicon Loki's Lute returns as a level 100 instrument that provides -40 Bravery, +67 Attack, +1 Defense, and +20% EX Core Absorption. It can be obtained by trading 172,880 gil, Lamia Harp, Apollo Harp, and Iifa Tree.

Etymology
Loki is a god or jötunn (or both). Loki is the father of Hel, Fenrir, and Jörmungandr. The mother, giving birth in the form of a mare, to the eight-legged horse Sleipnir. Loki is a shape shifter, he sometimes assists the gods and sometimes causes problems for them.
