Trivia
Edit
- Final Fantasy XIII, the game's predecessor, was originally set to have Downloadable Content - one of which would have been the Seventh Ark. The Downloadable Content idea was instead rolled over to the game's sequel.
- The "N7 Armor" is the only costume in the game that shares the same design for Serah and Noel.
- Furthermore, the "N7 Armor" is the first costume available in the game that comes from a game not developed by Square Enix. Despite this release, however, the Assassin's Creed outfit was announced before the N7 Armor.
- The "Catastrophe Blade" is called the "Calamity Blade" in the Japanese release of the game.
- On March 12th, 2012, Square Enix Europe confirmed that DLC from that point on would not support or include additional Xbox 360 achievements and/or PS3 trophies.
- A number of costumes have undergone name changes. For example:
- "Summoner's Garb" was originally called "Evening Calm".
- "Beachwear" was originally called "Resort Style".
- "Style and Steel" was originally called "Exposure and Defense".
- "Battle Attire" was originally called "Brave the Blaze".
- "Spacetime Guardian" was originally called "The Protector of Space and Time".
- "A Wondrous Wardrobe" was originally called "Yori Dori Midori".
- "Style and Steel" is the only costume DLC that is offered for free and it was designed by AKB48 member Yuko Oshima. As a reference to this, when the player decides and presses "Download" on the costume's DLC page in PS Store, a window with the subtitle "SERAH'S COSTUME: AKB" will pop up.
- Snow's DLC is the only time the player can witness every Coliseum contender during the cutscene, minus Arbiter of Time in his true form: Valfodr.
- The combined cost of all DLC is 5440 MSP for the Xbox 360, and about $67 for PS3.
- Between September 25th, 2012 and October 1st, 2012, there was a 50% off sale on most of the DLC (all costumes except Serah's Summoner's Garb and Noel's Battle Attire, all Coliseum Battles except Omega, and all three Scenarios). Assuming that all possible sale prices were taken advantage of, the total cost for all 16 items would have been 2160 MSP, or about $27 for PS3 (down from the base totals of 4320 MSP, or about $54 for PS3).
