Final Fantasy XIII-2 has a variety of downloadable content which can be acquired by various means: by pre-order redeem codes, through special events on the official social networking sites for Final Fantasy XIII-2, or by purchasing on the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live Arcade. The game received one or two updates for the downloadable content per month after the its release. Releases on downloadable content concluded on May 15, 2012.[1]

TriviaEdit
- The "N7 Armor" is the only costume in the game that shares the same design for Serah and Noel.
- Furthermore, the "N7 Armor" is the first costume available in the game that comes from a game not developed by Square Enix. Despite this release, however, the Assassin's Creed outfit was announced before the N7 Armor.
- On March 12th, 2012, Square Enix Europe confirmed that future DLC will not support or include additional Xbox 360 achievements and/or PS3 trophies.
- "Style and Steel" was originally named "Exposure and Defense". It is the only costume DLC that is offered for free.
- When the player decides and presses "Download" on the costume's DLC page in PS Store, a window with subtitle "SERAH'S COSTUME: AKB" will pop up.
- Snow's DLC is the only time the player can witness every Coliseum contender during the cutscene, minus Arbiter of Time in his true form: Valfodr.
- The combined cost of all DLC is 5440 MSP, or about $67 for PS3.
