*Dark Knight in the original PlayStation version was not a regular job class, but rather a special job class unique to the guest character, Goffard Gaffgarion. In the The War of the Lions version, however, his job title changed to being a Fell Knight to distinguish it from the regular Dark Knight job.

Special JobsEdit

These job classes are available as a controllable character after acquiring them along the storyline's progression or as a sidequest. Their special job class replace the base Squire job..

However, as party guests, you cannot control them in battle, nor can you have them participate in non-storyline battles. Joins is defined as being able to add the character to the party and fully control the character in any battle.

Non-playable JobsEdit

Guest JobsEdit

These jobs are only available as guests to the party. While one can modify their equipment and skills to some extent, they cannot be controlled and only appears during storyline battles and they don't appear during random encounters.

Enemy JobsEdit

Miscellaneous JobsEdit

The following jobs are story related jobs used during the cut scenes, it serves no purpose in battle as the majority of them possess no skillsets associated with the job. Curious to say, the developers did take time to give them a job description.
