The following is a list of the ranged weapons in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. Bows and greatbows fall under the bows subcategory. Ranged weapons cannot be equipped when either Doublehand or Monkey Grip are set.

BowsEdit

Bows are two-handed weapons that can be equipped by Archers and Rangers. Bows can now strike higher elevation targets at maximum range with a normal attack, but cannot go past obstacles. However, the arrow trajectory is ignored for abilities.

  • Hidden in the game codes is a sixth set of ranged weapons—Grenades—which were to be the class specific weapon for the nu mou job, Transmuter, which was removed due to testing issues. If hacked, jobs that can use all weapons, such as Chocobo Knight, can use them, but they are all at 0 for all stats and titleless, suggesting they were not fully developed before the Transmuter job was removed.
