FFE The following is a list of elements in Final Fantasy Explorers. Elements unique to this game include slash, strike, thrust, and shot. Elements can be given to certain abilities with Crystal Surges, and equipping elemental weapons will add elemental damage to abilities. Elemental damage done by mutations and Crystal Surges are shown by a separate value on screen.

Elemental damage Edit

Elements deal varying damage depending on the elemental number, elemental resistance, ability, mutation(s), and equipment. Attacks and abilities can deal elemental damage when a weapon's elemental damage is 100 or higher and/or an ability deals elemental damage. Different elemental damages do not stack with each other, instead the highest damaging element is chosen. Enemies have different resistances and weakness, and Eidolons resistances differ between body parts and can be reduced when a part it broken.

Elemental resist↓ and especially Imperil can greatly increase the damage of elemental attacks. Equipment and equipment traits that increase elements (such as fire +1) can also add damage varying on it's strength. The damage done by mutations and Crystal Surges depend on the damage of the attack or ability, meaning equipment traits do not directly affect this type of damage. It's recommended to have at least one element mutated on an ability (if possible), with light and dark being the best well rounded choices.
