This is the List of Abilities in Dissidia Final Fantasy. Abilities are classified into three categories: namely, Action Abilities, Support Abilities, and Extra Abilities.

  • Action abilities are abilities that are used for moving and defending in the battlefield. There are abilities that can be used by pressing the Action button (the Triangle), the R button, or a combination of the two, and there are abilities that increase mobility of the character.
  • Support abilities are abilities that from the word itself, supports the character. Support abilities consists mainly of automatic abilities (Auto EX Burst, Auto Chase).
  • Extra Abilities are abilities that are unlocked by Level 25 and above. These abilities are useful in the way that they can turn the tables of battle. Aside from these abilities, there are also "Disable" abilities available so that if the enemy has the corresponding critical-causing ability, it could have no effect on the player.

Aerial Recovery 10 5 80 Initial When tumbling through the air, press Dissidia X Button to break fall.
Recovery Attack 20 10 120 Level 32 Press Dissidia Circle Button or Dissidia Square Button to attack while flying through air. Must enable Aerial Recovery
Glide 10 5 100 Initial (Kuja only) While pressing Dissidia X Button in midair, you can fly freely.
Air Dash 10 5 100 Level 4 While Quickmoving, press Dissidia Triangle Button to dash toward opponent. Hold button to extend range.
Reverse Air Dash 10 5 100 Level 18 While Quickmoving, press Dissidia Triangle Button to dash away from opponent. Hold button to extend range.
Omni Air Dash 40 20 300 Level 40 Press Dissidia R Button + Dissidia Triangle Button to dash in any direction. Hold button to extend range.
Free Air Dash 30 15 200 Initial Press Dissidia R Button + Dissidia Triangle Button to dash toward opponent. Hold button to extend range.
Reverse Free Air Dash 30 15 200 Level 29 Press Dissidia R Button + Dissidia Triangle Button to dash away from opponent. Hold button to extend range.
Multi-Air Slide 10 5 250 Level 53 Press Dissidia X Button to dash in any direction. Hold button to extend range.
Multi-Air Slide + 30 15 300 Master Multi-Air Slide Multi-Air Slide can be performed twice.
Speed Boost 20 10 150 Level 7 or 21 (varies by character) Slight movement speed boost.

  • Command Battle Boost must be bought separately for each character.
