Battle music in the arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy plays a similar role to the music found in the previous Dissidia games. Like in the past Dissidia games, part of the tracks are directly ported from the games which the heroes and villains belong to, some arranged tracks return from the original Dissidia and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy; and, finally, new arrangements exclusive for this game have been composed by Takeharu Ishimoto. In this installment, tracks belonging to games that have no representation in the character and/or stage roster are also included, and arrangements belonging to other Final Fantasy spin-offs can be found in the game.
