The following is a list of all the themes that play exclusively in battle scenes present in the Final Fantasy series: Random encounter battle themes, Boss battle themes, specific Boss battle themes and Final Boss themes, etc.

- "Planetary Core" for the battle against the Creator's shell.
- "Master of Imagination" for the battle against the Creator's second form.

- "Antipyretic", "Night Attack", and "Bloody Execrement" are also widely recurring.

- In the original three installments of the main series, the total number of themes that appeared only in-battle present in each game corresponded to the game's chronological number. This was stopped after Final Fantasy IV when Final Fantasy IV included five distinct battle themes.
