Lini, a Moogle, is one of six special recruits in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

RequirementsEdit

Lini has a 1-in-5 chance of joining your clan after completion of a mission where The Hero Gaol is equipped. The Hero Gaol is a reward for #062 Oasis Frogs, which itself is unlocked after #005 Twisted Flow, but can only be completed after #006 Antilaws due to an automatic engagement in Cadoan.

AbilitiesEdit

Like all secret characters, Lini joins four levels above the average of the entire clan. Lini is recruited as a Mog Knight, and as a bonus he has two abilities already mastered: Mog Guard and Ultima Charge.

ChargeEdit

Mog Knight command. Use momentum to deal damage.

Easter EggEdit

Lini was the name of the sidekick of Gaol, a legendary hero on which Missions #032 through #035 were based. The special recruit could either be a moogle named after the original Lini, or, based on what Mission #036 Twin Swords states, could be the original Lini returned from the dead.

EtymologyEdit

In sundanesse, "Lini" means "Earthquake".
