Linen Cuirass (リネンキュラッサ, Rinen Kyurassa?), also known as Cuirass, is a recurring armor in the series. It is often a low-ranked armor, and usually provides no special bonuses aside from its Defense bonus.

It can only be used by Steiner and Freya, and provides +10 Defense, +1 Magic, and teaches the ability Cover. It can be bought in Lindblum (Disc 1/2), Burmecia, Summit Station, and Treno for 800 gil. The player may also steal one from Black Waltz 3.
