Lightning Arrow (雷の矢 or ひかりのや, Kaminari no Ya?, lit. Thunder Arrow), also known as Light Arrow, Lit, Bolt Arrow, Bolt, and Lightning Arrows, is a recurring weapon in the series. It is of the Lightning element, and can only be used by those equipped with a bow.
Light Arrow is a mid-ranked arrow only usable by the Onion Knight and [[Ranger (Final Fantasy III)}|Ranger]] classes, and provides 17 Strength (30 in the NES version) and is Lightning-elemental. It can be bought for 150 gil (30 in the NES version) at the Village of the Ancients or found as treasure at Castle Argus.
Lightning Arrow is a mid-ranked arrow that provides 15 Strength and is Lightning-elemental. It can be bought for 30 gil at Troia, found as treasure at Sylph Cave, or dropped from Storm Anima, Lesser Marilith, and Clockwork Soldier.
Lightning Arrow returns as a mid-ranked arrow, providing the same stats as before. It can be bought for 500 gil at Mist, Agart, and Troia, found as treasure at Underground Waterway during both Palom's and Porom's Tales, or dropped from Storm Anima, Proto Beam Cannon, Lesser Marilith, Clockwork Soldier, or Blast Golem.
Lightning Arrows is a mid-ranked arrow that provides 2 Strength and is Lightning-elemental. It can be obtained by found as treasure at Cerobi Steppe (South Liavell Hill and Feddik River) or from completing the Hunt "A Chase Through The Woods".
In the International version, it can only be obtained through the Hunt "A Chase Through The Woods".
