Final Fantasy VI PlayStation Bestiary entry

The Lich is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. It can be found at the Cave to the Sealed Gate.

Stats[]

Battle[]

Like most enemies in the Cave to the Sealed Gate, Lich is undead and absorbs Fire Fire-elemental damage. Its special attack, Insanitouch, confuses characters, and on their fifth turn they have a 33% chance to use Firaga, dealing massive damage. They often attack in groups. Lich is susceptible to Confusion.

Strategy[]

Using Edgar's Noise Blaster and summoning Cait Sith helps. Offensively, only Sabin's Aura Cannon will be effective, but if the player did not bring him along, any non-fire attacks will work. If anyone has learned Rasp from Zona Seeker, they can use it to damage Lich's MP and kill them that way.
