Levrikon is an enemy in Final Fantasy VII fought on the world map near the Chocobo Farm. They can also appear alongside chocobos. Levrikons can also fought in the fifth round of the Battle Square before the player obtains the Tiny Bronco. When fought in the Battle Square its stats are enhanced with double the normal HP and its Attack and Magic Attack are increased by 25%.

Its physical attacks pose only a minor threat. Valuable Ethers can be stolen from it, and it can be defeated with Matra Magic. Its Flaming Peck attack has a fairly low chance of inflicting the Fury status. The Fury status decreases the likelihood of affected characters' physical and magical attacks hitting by 30%, and doubles the acquisition rate of Limit Breaks.

The Levrikon has a counterpart in this respect in the Grasslands Area, the Elfadunk, whose attacks have a much higher chance of affecting characters with Sadness.

Levrikon is a acceptable localization of the katakana given no context. Ls and Rs are not distinguished in Japanese, and Bs often represent V sounds. In this case the katakana itself is incorrect, using (bu?) instead of (pu?). The name is intended to be Replicon, as correctly written and translated in the enemy's appearance in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-.

A replicon is a DNA molecule or RNA molecule, or a region of DNA or RNA, that replicates from a single origin of replication.
