FFE Knight

In addition to attacks, Knights boast numerous defensive abilities.

Description

Knight (ナイト, Naito?) is one of the jobs available in Final Fantasy Explorers.

Gameplay[]

The Knight is unlocked after the 1★ Tutorial Quest, "Ability Mutations Exam". It can be mastered after the Knight completes any 10 quests, then the 5★ quest "Mastery Trials: Knight".

Knights are a tank-type job with a good balance of physical offense and defense, though their magical stats are poor. Because of this, they are often in the front line drawing attention away from their more fragile allies. The Knight can initially equip Swords and Pavises; when mastered they can also equip Daggers and Spears, and can dual wield.

Abilities[]

Etymology[]

A knight is a mounted soldier in armor who served his sovereign or lord in the Middle Ages. The word comes from Old English cniht ("boy" or "servant"), a cognate of the German word Knecht ("servant, bondsman, vassal"). In most European languages (with the notable exception of English), the word for "knight" comes from "horse", thus implying that a knight is a "noble horseman" or a "horse-mounted nobleman". The English noun cavalier, an archaic term for a mounted soldier, traces its roots to Latin, and is closer in meaning to the "horseman" of Romance languages.
