Gorn dies in his castle.

After meeting the Warriors of the Light in a tavern, Alus returns home with renewed conviction and attempts to reason with his father once more. Once they arrive, Gigameth attempts to have the king stab the young prince in his sleep, but the love for his son causes him to break the spell and turn the knife on himself. His cover blown, the advisor transforms into his true form, the monstrous Garuda, before falling to Luneth and his friends.

During his last moments alive, the king asks for Alus's forgiveness, which he receives.
