Kenji Terada (寺田 憲史, Terada Kenji^?), born 1952, is a scenario writer, novelist, and animation director who worked with Squaresoft during the early days of the company and helped craft the stories for some of the first Final Fantasy titles.

He would also later go on to produce two written adaptations: the novel Final Fantasy II Muma no Meikyū, and manga series Yuukyuu no Kaze Densetsu: Final Fantasy III Yori.
