Kefka, the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VI, is fought as a boss in his human incarnation in the World of Balance. In the battle, Kefka uses powerful magic, including Blizzara which is virtually an instant kill against a single character. He also has Poison, Drain, Thunder, Fire, Blizzard, and a fairly weak physical attack. It is highly advised that Celes be brought along to Runic his magic and heal the party while others use physical attacks. Sabin should use Aura Cannon, Edgar should use his Auto Crossbow, Cyan should use Fang, and Gau should use the Stray Cat Rage. Kefka flees at the end of the battle.
General Leo fights a shade of Kefka in Thamasa. This is not a true boss fight, however, as it ends in a cinematic scene and Kefka's sprite is unnamed. This time, Kefka has Bio, Drain, Firaga, Thunder and Poison. This Kefka has 5001 HP, allowing Leo to kill him in three or four turns unless the player dallies.
