Kaori Tanaka (田中 香, Tanaka Kaori) is a former graphic designer for Square Co., Ltd., who formerly used the nickname Clio Saga and is now known as Soraya Saga. She is married to former Final Fantasy VI graphic director, Tetsuya Takahashi.

Although she only worked on two Final Fantasy installments, Tanaka had a strong influence on Final Fantasy VI, having created the characters and stories of Edgar Roni Figaro, Sabin Rene Figaro, Duncan Harcourt, Vargas, and Relm Arrowny. After this, Tanaka moved on to Xenogears and eventually left Square in 1999 to become a freelance game story writer.

She notably wrote Figaro no Kekkon: Tales from Desert, a Final Fantasy VI doujinshi delving into the background of the Figaro family. However, she notes in an insert that the readers do not treat it as canon (though this warning may or may not be due to basic legal considerations).
