Appearances
Final Fantasy X
Template:Sideicon Jinx is a Special ability found on Kimahri's section of the Sphere Grid. It costs no MP to use.
It claims to lower the targets' Luck stat at once, but does not give the full impact of a reduced Luck. Each use reduces the evasion chance of all enemies by 1%, and increases the chance of landing a critical hit on them by 1%; it has no impact on the target's accuracy or their chance of landing a critical hit themselves in their attacks. The effect can be stacked of up to five times.

Etymology
jinx, in popular superstition and folklore, is a type of curse placed on a person that makes them prey to many minor misfortunes and other forms of bad luck; a person afflicted with a similar curse, who, while not directly subject to a series of misfortunes, seems to attract them to anyone in his vicinity; or an object or person that brings bad luck.
