Jambiya (ジャンビーヤ, Janbīya?) is a recurring weapon in the series. It is generally either a weak or powerful knife or dagger, depending on the game, that boosts good attack power and tends to increase Speed and Evasion.

Final Fantasy XIVEdit

XIV Jambiyas are a level 41 set of daggers for Rogues and Ninjas obtained as possible spoils from the Stone Vigil dungeon. They are item level 43 with a damage rating of 30, and grants Dexterity +11, Vitality +12, Determination +8, and Skill Speed +17.

Jambiya is now a high-ranked knife that provides 43 Attack, 2 Magic, and 2 Evade. It teaches Steal Accessory to Thieves for 550 AP and Critical: Vanish to Rangers for 400 AP. It can be obtained as the grand prize from the Auction Regional, as well as from the Smallswords B category in the Bazaar.
