Ivory Pole (象牙の棒, Zōge no Bō?) is a recurring weapon in the series. It is often a mid-ranked pole, and is often stronger than the Gokuu Pole.


Final Fantasy XIIEdit

The Ivory Pole is a high-ranked pole that provides +75 Attack and 12% combo rate. Poles' attack speed is average at 2.47s charge and 1.2s action time. It can be bought for 13,500 gil at Balfonheim Port, or bought from the Bazaar by selling Wind Crystal x7, Demon Feather x6, and Blood-Darkened Bone x8. It requires 35 LP and the Poles 4 license in order to equip.

Final Fantasy TacticsEdit

A pole made from specially treated ivory. It is surprisingly strong, despite its fragile appearance.

The Ivory Pole is the third-strongest pole, being bested by the Eight-Fluted Pole and Whale Whisker. It provides +11 Attack and 20% Weapon Defense, and can be poached from Sekhret or caught from level 95 Ninjas.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the RiftEdit

The Ivory Pole is a high-ranked pole usable by the Master Monk, Geomancer, Chocobo Knight, Dancer, and Heritor. It provides +44 Attack, +5 Defense, and +2 Speed, and teaches the ability Earth's Embrace for 200 AP to the Geomancer. It can be obtained from the Bazaar through the Uncommon Poles B category.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

The Ivory Pole is a level 60 pole that provides -248 HP, +59 Bravery, +48 Attack, and Initial Assist Charge +20%. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 92,640 gil, Zephyr Pole, Queen Lamia's Locks, and Thief's Desire x5.
