Imperil (Status)
Talk1this wiki
Imperil (ウィーク, Wīku?, lit. "Weak") is a negative status effect from Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2. It reduces target's elemental susceptibity as well as increases the chance of other debuffs to be more successful. Imperil also increases the chain % points added by spells when adding to the stagger chain.
Its opposite status enhancement is Veil, however, unlike other opposite status effects, Veil will not cancel out Imperil.

Trivia
Edit
- The icon used to represent Imperil in Final Fantasy XIII is different to that in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Due to the Water Element being removed in the sequel, the water droplet in the icon has been replaced with a gust of wind and the red down arrow was moved to the center for better element icon view.
