Imperial Camp

The Imperial Camp is a location in the game Final Fantasy VI. It was a temporary encampment set up by the Gestahlian Empire during their invasion of Doma. The camp was run by General Leo, and he made sure that the invasion involved as little fighting as possible. However, Kefka was there as well, and he wanted to have an all out war with Doma. As a result, many of the soldiers distrusted him.
Sabin and Shadow had to sneak around the base in order to get to Narshe, however, there were too many soldiers. They overheard General Leo and Kefka talking about the fate of Doma. Kefka wanted to dump poison in the river that led to Doma Castle, but Leo refused to allow it. A soldier later called Leo back to Vector, and Leo left that soldier in charge of the camp. Kefka seized the opportunity and proceeded to dump poison in the river. Sabin and Shadow tried to stop him, but could not do so.
As a result of this, Cyan, a knight of Doma, came down to the camp and began to kill soldiers left and right. Sabin and Shadow helped him out, and the three decided that they had to escape. They hopped into suits of Magitek Armor (which Cyan was very reluctant to do, as he had a stern dislike for machines and anything mechanical) and escaped.
