The Icicle is an enemy from Final Fantasy VII. It is fought at Gaea's Cliff in four set battles, and cannot be found in random encounters. They are always accompanied by four Evilheads. When the Icicle is defeated, it will fall from the cave ceiling, creating a new path below. If defeated before the Evilheads, the battle will automatically end and the player will not receive EXP, AP, gil, or items from the Evilheads that are still alive.

The Icicle will not attack the party if the party does not attack it. It has a one-in-two chance of countering attacks with Icicle Drop. As it is weak against Gravity, casting Demi2 or Laser will instantly defeat it. Beta will also instantly defeat it if the player's Magic is high enough.

• If it is considered a death, the Icicle has the longest death animation of an enemy, taking almost 12 seconds for its shatter animation to finish and then finishing the battle.
