Ichthious pose little threat. Their special attack, Spiral Shell, deals little damage. They may drop the useful "Faerie Wings" item which give the "Quicken" Status Effect which makes Ashley run faster and jump higher for a short period of time.

Ikhthus is the Greek word for fish used as a fish-related prefix in words related to fish, such as ichthyology.
