Hunter is a job class in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift that utilizes great bows in combat, similar to the Viera Sniper class. It is available to Humes and Gria. The job specializes in fighting monsters.
Hunters are excellent marksmen whose weak point is their low defense. They have one of the strongest attacks in the game, Ultima Shot, which deals triple damage. The high 32MP cost means that Hunters will have to wait four turns before using Ultima Shot, so one strategy is to pair them with something that can restore MP, such as the Bangaa Cannoneer and Moogle Flintlock jobs.
Hunters have lost their capture skill — it was rendered useless by the removal of the Morpher job.
