House by the Sea, is a boathouse that serves as a dock for the Eisen Region in Bravely Default and Bravely Second: End Layer. The Shieldbearers control the house, and it serves as a relay location for the party.
- House by the Sea
Datz and Zatz used this abandoned house when trying to recruit help from Grandship. People and supplies are ferried in from ships anchored in the bay.
Having been abandoned during the Eisenberg civil war, is worn over time, it became an ideal location for the Shieldbearers to have supplies ferried to them from anchored ships in the bay. Datz Strongberry and Zatz Mightee used the house as their base with the latter seeking help from those on Grandship before crossing paths with Agnès Oblige and her party. Both Zatz and Datz remained at the house until they were given orders from Daniel Goodman to aid the wind vestal.
During the events of Bravely Second, upon learning the war in Eisenberg is over, the original owner and his granddaughter return to the house. However, the house is sought by Erutus Profiteur as the last area of property to create a port that would help Eisenberg's economy. Depending on Edea Lee's choice, the gaffer would either sell the house to his granddaughter's dismay or keep it for her sake.
The house is as the name implies, just by the sea at the very tip of the bay-shoreline. The mountains ranges around it forms an arc.
