Template:Sideicon Hojo is a boss in Final Fantasy VII. Hojo is encountered near the control area of the Sister Ray. Cloud and his party arrive right before he manages to fulfill his plan to give energy to Sephiroth with the giant cannon. This is the first part of a three part battle.

Strategy
Hojo does nothing, instead he gets aid from his two samples, the Bad Rap Sample and the Poodler Sample, with the Capsule ability. He will instantly bring out another replacement monster if either of those two are defeated. The player should avoid wasting MP against this form, and primarily use physical attacks to defeat Hojo. If the Samples cause problems, one can simply use Stop-inflicting attacks to keep them from attacking.
