A bow born of winds high in the sky. Arrows shot from it fly like tornado missiles.

Hayate Bow (疾風の弓矢 or 疾風の弓, Hayate no Yumiya?), also known as Gust, Aeolian Bow, and Gale Bow, is a recurring weapon in the series. It is often a mid-ranked bow.

Hayate is a Japanese word which can mean "fresh breeze".

Aeolian or Eolian refers to things related to Aeolus, the Greek God of wind and patriarch of the Greeks of Aeolia.

A gale is a very strong wind.

A gust is a short blast of wind.
