Scion set by the gods to wield and manipulate the laws of this world, and with holy power lead mankind to order. Created in opposition to Fandaniel the Protector, scion of light. Desiring to bring order to all things, he joined with Ultima in her battle against the gods. He gave his body to the Thousand-Years War, and when his strength was spent, down into the burning inferno he fell.

Hashmal is relatively easy once you have the Float spell. By casting Float on all party members, Hashmal's Quakeja can be easily avoided, otherwise it will hit hard and may inflict Slow on those not floating. Also, do not underestimate his standard attacks, which can deal quite a lot damage on your party. Aside from that, his standard attacks can inflict Disease. If you have collected plenty of Vaccines, learned Cleanse, and/or mastered all of the Remedy Lores on the License Board, this should not be a problem. Make sure your frontline fighters have good armor, as well as powerful weapons, like a greatsword or axe.

Hashmal's name appears to be based on the word "Hashmall", a type of angel in Jewish and Christian mythology, better known as the Dominions.
