The Guardian Beast is a boss in Final Fantasy X-2. It was guarding a sphere in the Zanarkand Ruins. At Chapter 3, it becomes a rare enemy to fight.
[edit] Strategy
Guardian Beast is weak to all magic except Gravity, so have a Black Mage constantly cast second or third level magic. Have a White Mage use Pray every turn, and heal with Cure or Cura if someone needs it. The third character can be anything. A Warrior, or Songstress using Darkness Dance are good choices. Make sure to watch out for its Damocles Photon attack, it inflicts heavy damage and can cause Curse. Curse can be cured with a Remedy, Holy Water, or the spell Esuna.
