Guard Hound is an enemy from Final Fantasy VII. It is a tailless panther-like canine with a whip-like projection sticking from its back encountered in the Sector 1 Reactor.
It uses its two attacks in a very simple pattern; it will use Bite on allies in the front row and Tentacle on allies in the back row. It will then attack the weakest member of your party. Despite this it is not a strong or annoying enemy and should not prove to be much of a problem.
