Viper that suddenly mutated after a molting. This strain, as yet unrecorded in the Camp annals, is hunted in the Mosphoran Highwaste.
Its spawn criteria uses the game's clock time; appearing when the minute timer displays a number between 10 and 20 (minutes). It spawns in the initially inaccessible western section of Empyrean Way, springing up like all Vipers in the game do. To access this area, the player must have reached the Phon Coast in the storyline, as this causes the water to flow through the shrines in the Mosphoran Highwaste.
In order to reach the western part of the Empyrean Way, the player must activate the Shrine of the Northeast Wind, the Shrine of the East Wind, and the Shrine of the Southeast Wind within the Babbling Vale. This will create a new path at the Empyrean Way, allowing access to the area containing the Grey Molter.
