The Green Soul is an enemy from Final Fantasy II. It absorbs all forms of magic, so the only way to defeat it is through physical attacks. However, the Green Soul is a very friendly enemy: it will repeatedly cast Cure VI on the player party instead of healing their allies. It can be manipulated to make dungeon-crawling a bit easier, especially in the taxing hallways of Fynn Castle. A Green Soul group "guards" a treasure chest in the lower left area of Deist Cavern's second basement level, which holds a Mage Staff.
