Great Malboros follow a strict pattern of Bad Breath > Attack > Bile > Attack > Doom > Attack, at which point they will start the pattern again at Bad Breath.
This enemy has high magic resistance, so the party will have to defeat them with their weapons on hand. Great care should be taken when dealing with this foe, as it is highly dangerous. Having resistance to specific statuses, such as Confusion or Silence, will help prevent Bad Breath from hitting that character. From there, it is a simple matter of healing from its powerful physical attacks and defeating it before any character affected by its Doom spell dies.
Even with their resistance to most magic, Great Malboro's are easily affected by the Stop spell.
