The Elixir Glutturn is one of four variations of one enemy in the Advance version of Final Fantasy VI. It is encountered in the Soul Shrine randomly. It asks for Elixirs and if it is not given one after a turn, it starts casting Ultima. Celes' Runic ability can make this easier since the Glutturn's Ultima will be absorbed. After it is defeated, it will cast Heartless Angel, reducing all party member's HP to 1, making the next battle harder. It has a valuable Soul of Thamasa to be stolen. It is also the only source of unlimited Souls of Thamasa.
