Germonique (ゲルモニーク, Gerumonīku^?), also known as Germonik, is a notable person from the history of Ivalice in Final Fantasy Tactics. He was one of the disciples of the infamous Saint Ajora Glabados. Knowing the truth about Ajora, he betrayed him to the Holy Ydoran Empire, resulting in the death of Ajora. Germonique is the author of the Scriptures of Germonique, which play an important role in the game.

It is implied by the words of the final boss ("In you... his blood, my vanquisher in times... long past" (in the PSP version), or "You're the descendant of the one who killed me before". (in the PSX version)) that Ramza Beoulve is a descendant of Germonique. As an alternative, it could mean that they are very similar.

• Germonique's character is similar to the Disciple Judas, who betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. However, Germonique's reasons for betraying Ajora were more noble.
