As you probably figured out, this is one of the rounds that features characters considered to be the best in their business. And who better to round it out than Kefka, the villain we all love to hate.

You are wrong Crazyswords, Sephiroth is better and I don't love to hate Kefka. I just plain love Kefka. I can't hate a crazy maniac who shares the same nilishic and misanthropic view of the world as I do. Plus Necron is a nobody, just thrown in at the last moment for no good reason. But I must save my fire for when I reach the final page of my Walkthrough. Go Kefka!!

Kefka is laughing at you, DM Drake. Obviously you must be possessed by the spirit of some sort of anti-FFVI madman, because you have yet to realize that FFVI is the best game of the series (at least until I play FFVII and can make a clear judgment of the two). I suggest you play FFVI in some way now, so you can exorcise the spirit and come to terms with its greatness.
And Kefka stands tall at the top of the heap. I've seen Sephiroth and read his bio, and he sounds fairly badass. But I must remind you all that Kefka was one of many firsts for FF villains. He was the first to have a defined personality as opposed to "I will destroy the world" like previous villains. He was the first to actually achieve his goal of godhood and absorbing the power of the Statues. And he was the first to appear as an Angel. If it weren't for Kefka, I highly doubt that Sephiroth would have the time and development of his character that he had. Kefka started the trend with developed, angelic bosses. Sephiroth was just a copycat, as were all bosses after him. Kefka is an awesome villain in so many ways I can't even begin to list them. I hope that others realize this so that when he squares off against Sephiroth in the future, voters make the right choice and vote the psycho clown. Oh, and CSM, the previous poll is still open. I have played Final Fantasy VI, I'm actually still playing it and I'm currently learning Meteor with Terra and Celes (my two best characters) and bringing up the levels of Sabin and Locke. I know what happen at the end, I watched my friend beat the Play Station version. Still, Sephiroth is better than Kefka, and I know that CSM put Kefka against Necron because he knew that Necron didn't stand a chance, and that Sephiroth would've easily wiped him out with a 5:1 ratio of votes. There's more to say on this but I've got to use the bathroom, so that's all for now.

Even though I haven't finished FFVI, I always thought Necron was kind of pointless and felt like he was tacked on at the end of FFIX for no reason, so I'm going with Kefka.

Also, Drake-squared, I set this up so that ideally Sephiroth and Kefka would meet in the Sweet Sixteen. I'm kinda disappointed that you don't know how brackets work.

I like ExDeath, but Ultros had me laughing out loud when I played, and when he'a the receptionist at the colisieum, you can't help but feel, "Ah, no more fights with that bastard." and "Ah, I liked that guy."

I've never played V or VI, (I will get VI when I find a PAL copy for my brand new sexy DS lite) but judging on what I've seen on these two and my experiences with them in FFXII, I'll have to go with Exodus. Some wierd octo-squid can't beat a guy in cool armor who sits in a chair flinging Meteor spells at people! BTW the name ExDeath sucks, sounds like the person who came up with the name had a lisp, or lived in the 90s which, I guess they did.

Kuja may be my favourite Final Fantasy villain, NOT cause of the cross dressing. Just his theme tunes, evil villain lair and the FMV in which he destroys Terra. Oh and he has pet Dragons

Garland's cool in IX, but in the first game it's hard to say that there are any good characters, and the Emperor was harder than both Garland and Chaos.

They're both extremely easy bosses, but I'll go with Garland since he's not a pretty boy pathetic excuse for a final boss. Hey Emperor! Take this: Bloodsword! Done, what a fucking wealing.

The first disc of FFVIII is a good game. Its the next 3 that make it suck. I enjoyed Edea to that point, so I will drink enough alcohol to blank out the rest from my mind and vote for her

Actually, the plot of FFVIII didn't suck for the first TWO discs (although the characters still did.

Edea was the only good thing in FFVIII then they managed to ruin that by making her a puppet that repulsive bitch Ultimencia. I loved Edea right up to the end of DISC 2. Then the game fucked her over royally by ruining her plans for world domination, and making her return to her ugly fucking chode of a husband Cid. Edea your plans for the future will live on if only in my heart. All hail the great Sorceress!!

Gilgamesh may have been an annoying repeating boss that's always easy to beat but he did it FIRST and BEST, dammit! Seymour is just an effeminite loser, actually worse than Kuja in my opinion. Everything about him just annoys me - the hair (how much hair gel much those long spikes need?), the open kimono so that we can see his diseased breast, and his terrible voice acting. Seymour is so pathetic he couldn't even be the final boss. Gilgamest here.

Why why why did these two have to get put together? Dammit. I like the both of them and the Seymour battles are my favourite in FFX. Gilgamesh is really cool and I love his swords, character and voice acting in XII (John DiMaggio anyone?). I'll go with Seymour because I don't like Gilgamesh's Sprites in FFI, final FFV and his pudgy, squished face in XII. Plus Seymour's more of a challenge

Gestahl? Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, FFVI has exactly 3 villains - Ultros, Kefka, and Kaiser. Gestahl, no. I haven't even played FFVII and I'm going for Sephiroth. The only cool thing Gestahl did was get thrashed by Kefka.
