1. Mymindislost: I am proud to be the first to vote for this bunny-eared vixen of the skies. Fran is awesome. ^_^

3. BlueHighwind: Her looks are her most popular feature but I'm not totally superficial. Fran is the best Black Mage/Ranger I've ever had. I love her accent. Don't know where it comes from, but its still awesome. Locke is one-dimensional and boring. I never used him, sorry but he never "Wowed" me. And in every case FFXII is twice the game FFVI will ever be.
4. Scottyboy: I just wanna see Fran go against Balthier.
5. Azul: Fran gets my vote simply because she makes bunny ears look sexy o_O
6. User:Booff7: Since I never used him in my party I always feel like I missed out on having a good experience with Locke. Even so, he was a cool character and so was Fran. Since I can't pick which character I like better as far as personality, I'm going with Fran because I liked XII better than VI and because I actually used Fran.
7. Drake: Today while playing FFXII I had a complete change of heart about Fran. She is now one of my favorite characters in XII (who all still rank under every non-VI/Spinoff(excluding KH) character) and mostly because of her voice. I love her voice. So I'm voting for Fran. Plus, Locke is my least favorite character in VI, under Umaro.

9. Sure, I like Fran because she is hot. But that isn't why I'm voting for her. I just liked her character. And this is a tough choice, since Locke is awesome (and quite funny sometimes), but I'm going with Fran here ~Chocobo Knight

11. Pikmin Master: I don't have any other choice. I hate Locke, so Fran it is. Plus, who wouldn't resist a Viera like that, anyway? Although Locke is the better Thief, he gets owned by Fran's looks, voice, abilities, etc. Plus, last time I checked, Locke is a TREASURE HUNTER, not a Thief.
12. Zario: Although I named my FF6 Locke "Zario" I like Fran better because she is a Viera and she is Fran!

1. Crazyswordsman: Locke is far and away the best thief in the series. He may be a candidate for best character ever. He's way cooler than Fran, and his ValiantKnife can kill Fran with the Offering.
2. Gold: Fran was a part of the worst (second worst counting Online) FF game to date; no FFXII character can beat any other character from any other game in my eyes. That Balthier beat Zidane is a travesty, and I'll actually be sickened if the best thief in the series is beaten by that glorified rabbit.
3. dudutsai: Has the world gone upside down? How is Fran winning?! Since when was the playboy bunny wannabe cooler than The Treasure Hunter? Locke was the best and most useful theif in the series. Fran on the other hand was only a tiny bit better than Vaan and Penelo.
4. Drake Clawfang: Locke is a tragic, cool, stylish adventurer. Fran is...wtf is Fran, anyway? She looks like something out of a bad bondage flick. Locke will win this if there is any justice in the world.
5. User:Lancer4: Locke is way cooler, and is awesome. I don't get how he is losing. My BROTHER should've helped Locke out since he's losing anyway....grr.
6. Masamune: Locke should win this bracket. The only other acceptable occurence is if he gets beaten narrowly by Balthier next round. But no, he can't lose to Fran. She's statistically the worst character in FFXII, and her backstory leaves much to be desired. The fact that you can find several NPC viera who have exactly the same story takes away any originality. And I hated her voice. Locke struck me as a very real, very tragic person; somebody that you actually want to root for. Go, Locke!
7. cloudofdarkness:Okay, two things, the first is that I have found that all most all of fran's votes are because she is hot, second, the majority of locke's votes are because people hate XII. I am voting Locke because he is more badass than a hot Viera, but its close.
8. Faethin: With Zidane out of the Picture, I go for the best treasure hunter ever.
9. Archduke AK: Fran is not, to put it in laymen's terms that you will understand, NOT A FUCKING THIEF and as such SHOULD NOT BE ON THIS (CAPS). Locke is not very useful, although a good character, but at least he is a thief. Do you like decide these battles on random? What "thieves" are up next? Porom vs. Lulu?
10. SmegHead: Hey I finally finished building my new PC and it is sweeeeet! Anywho, I am getting into a new game of FFVI and have remembered that Locke is pretty cool.
11. Jack says: Okay, Locke was actually one of the best characters in VI probably (IMO of course). And then there's the fact that XII sucked more then VI, no matter how good you make Balthier, Fran, Basch, your mom, whatever sound brilliant. Besides, after awhile, I was considering whether Fran would actually top up as bad as Ashe, who almost tops up as worse then Vaan, who almost tops up as worse than Penelo, who almost tops up as worse than Larsa, who is just plain annoying. Hence, I almost considering Fran being only slightly better than the annoying pest trio.

Henryacores: Locke's a thief, Fran's an archer, meaning Fran should be in another proper bracket.Don't take me wrong- I love Fran much more than Locke, but this just ain't her section, so she *shouldn't win this because Locke's much more "Treasure Hunter" than Fran. This is like putting Vaan in a male bracket -.- ...

FFFan - can't wait for FFIV DS: TALK - {{{time}}} Ugh.........!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the hardest choices ever, if not hardest. I can't vote, I just can't. Fran is so awesome and hot, and Locke is just plain awesome. Man. Oh, well. Whoever wins it will be bittersweet.

BlueHighwind Q? TALK - Too Late, and to Their Sorrow, Do Those Who Misplace Their Trust in Gods Learn Their Fate: I always vote for the character I like better. Usually that person just so happens to be in my main party. I never used Locke - Setzer, Celes, Terra, and Sabin were much stronger characters.

She's trying to save her kingdom, even though she lost her husband and father she is still tough and hanging in there. Vincent just sleeps, but not like regular people, he sleeps in a COFFIN!!! You might say oh that's because he's a monster/vampire guy but he is still human and normal humans don't sleep in coffins for fun. Wierdo...
