Yeah... creepy. On a semi-related note, Barret's in this bracket for the same reason Larsa is: because there wasn't enough room for them in their respective brackets. Less memorable characters from 1-6, IMO. Also less characters in general, considering from 6 on there are more than four characters, and before that... there aren't. Actually, it's a really common tactic across all art. The bigger you want a character to appear, the smaller you make the head. Marvel does this with characters like Beast, too. Barret's extremity proportions are also a pretty standard feature for the team brute or heavy. Strong characters are generally given oversized hands to make way for oversized arms while preserving a more normal proportion of the limb overall. It's common for the feet to follow suit to avoid the character looking top-heavy. I'm not an art student myself, but reading about these kinds of things is pretty interesting.
