Shiva has been consistently hot, but was at her hottest in X. I've gone on the record as stating that Lightning from XIII is looking pretty hot so far. Ashe from XII isn't bad, but I don't think I'd go so far as to call her hot. Fran, however, is totally hot. Damn. Ultima is pretty hot, too. I'm doing guys, too, for the hell of it. :P Balthier, hands down. Damn, he's hot. Basch and Gabranth are both pretty hot, and Gabranth's got that accent going for him, too. It's mostly due to how different they are from their X versions. Why change them when they were so perfect in X? They should have just made a whole new cast for X-2. The reason Paine is actually popular is because she is new, and even then, her design is ten times better than the other two girls. | |||

I've never understood what the hell's so sad about being Half-Esper. If I were Half-Esper I wouldn't weep on it, I'd go all around like: "WooHoo! Get out of the friggin' way, MoFo's!" I think you've completely missed the point. Unlike you, she never wanted to be Half-Esper. Due to her unique genetics, she was exploited by an evil Empire, her mother was just thrown aside and her father was experimented on. Even worse, when she does find out about her powers, she has no control over them. In fact, they nearly consume her and push her to breaking point. All Terra ever wanted was a normal life, free from the grip of those who would want to exploit her. It's only much later that she has any kind of control of her powers. Anyway, I better do something before I kill the upbeat attitude of this topic. First, I'm not impressed by my Selphie innuendo. It should have been "I'd like her to ride my train, if you know I'm saying.", it seems to make some kind of sense. Also, ugliest FF girl has to be FFX-2 Rikku. I'm a little shallow, and tend to rate girls on their hair. Rikku's hair in X-2 just kills her in my eyes, and that suit is just doing nothing for me. Put some clothes on for crying out loud! | |||
Why is it her outfit that's the problem? I actually quite like the Thief dressphere, no issue with girls in bikinis here! I only don't like the way her personality was altered. In X she was a young, spunky girl with a lot of heart; which to me is very attractive; but she was too hyper in X-2 (the hot springs scene where she checks out Paine is just too disturbing). Yuna also was changed too much and this time it IS her outfit with bothers me, but I loved her in X. Also on my list is Princess Garnet - I LOVE the FMV where she cuts off her hair. | |||

Okay. Square only. 1. Tifa-Advent Children. I like this version of Tifa better than the original game's. 2. Yuna-X AND X-2. I don't care what anyone says, but Paine is not hot. If any of the gullwings are, its Yuna. 3. Beatrix-IX. I don't think I have to give any support for this one. 4. Fran-XII. Like Beatrix, no explanation. 5. Lightning-XIII. She seemed hot in the trailer. 6. Rinoa-VIII. I think that people give her way to much negative comments. Well Yuna always sucked. Rikku used to be really, really cool before FFX-2. Those outfits just scare the crap out of me and it seems to me like they were designed for people who wanted to make hentai. And that sickens me. Girls running around in bikinis and jpop music is counterintuitive to Final Fantasy. And skimpy outfits alone aren't a problem. Rydia, Ashe, and Tifa all wore somewhat skimpy outfits, but they weren't sluts. Their attitude was very serious and they kept a straight head on. Yuna and Rikku in FFX-2 didn't keep a straight head on. So a lot of it was mental. I agree with Smeg that the outfits alone aren't the problem, although they are a little excessive. But their attitudes make the outfits even more slutty. Yuna and Rikku BOTH sound like Selphie does (and to make matters worse, Rikku even QUOTES her!), and they're much, much, much more annoying than Selphie (and I've always said put 100 Tiduses together and you still wouldn't get a Selphie). I have never made my disdain for Selphie a secret. And to make Yuna and Rikku, and especially Rikku, who if it weren't for FFX-2 would probably be my favorite bubbly ditz, even better than Cara or Relm, sound like Selphie is an insult to people who have played this series for more than ten years. *Looks up for Terra-related posts* What's wrong with being half-Esper is that it's a huge burden on Terra. It's up to her, and her alone, to end the war, because Espers would never talk to humans. | |||

Well, I haven't played FF VII, but I've seen fairly gratuitous fanarts of Tifa. But exaggerated breasts do not appeal to me. Breast size isn't the be-all end-all when it comes to looks for me. Hottest, hands-down now, Rydia. Look at her DS sprite. She just has an overall aura of sexiness that no one can deny. High-heals, decent but not oversized breasts, nice legs. And she's a dual-Summoner and Black Mage. What more can you want from a woman beyond a nice body and awesome magical powers? Beyond that, I've seen the FF X-2 girls. And none of them appeal to me. When I pop a FF disk into my PS2, I want a FF game, not a strip-show from a trio of girls out of some hentai fantasy manga. Next, Celes. Terra is cute too, but Celes has that whole tomboyish-general wrapped up in the blonde hair and white gown of the stereotypical princess. After that, Aeris. She's pretty in a sort of girl-next door way. Based on her appearance, she's not the kind of woman you'd see on TV or a magazine and drool over, you'd see her unlocking a car door across the street. I dig the down-to-earth beauty like that. Beyond that, dunno. None of the FF girls really scream "HOT!" to me except for Rydia. And as a note, I don't think Celes is the Paladin of VI, Leo is. You know, I'm not surprised to see Terra Branford on so many people's "Hottest" lists. She possesses both beauty and power. Which puts her in a lot of danger in Dissidia, because men, especially the ones that serve Chaos, lust for both of these things. I certainly can't be the only one creeped out by Emperor Mateus's line of: *chuckle* "Why don't you let me control you?" or Garland's "Expect no chivalry here, woman."
Also, take note of Sephiroth's seductive-sounding "Don't fear the power to destroy," to Terra in the original Dissidia. Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it, if maybe he wants Terra back on Chaos's side as much as Kefka does (and thinks that seduction would be a more effective means to that end than anything an insane clown, who does not understand the art of subtlety, could come up with). Or maybe, given his disdainful "You're annoying," to Kefka, he's had it up to here with Kefka being an infernal nuisance (and wants to pour some of his power into Terra, in a manner of speaking, so that she will then kick Kefka's ass that much harder). - Yeah, Garland and Mateus do disgust me the way they address Terra. And don't even get me started on Kefka. (Not just in Dissidia, either. Any male who would put a Slave Crown on the head of a woman, especially one as beautiful as Terra, is automatically a rapist as far as I'm concerned.) I kind of see your point; of all the aforenamed villains, I do consider Sephiroth to be the one who'd pull the card of "even evil has standards" and find a way to seduce Terra if he lusted after her.
