For a long time I have been thinking how I could create a format that all of you could participate in to see who is the best in a Final Fantasy game, and then I've just realised one game where I could: Final Fantasy XIII!
The aim of this competition is simple: Score as many points for each boss of Final Fantasy XIII as possible. I am defining the term "Boss" as enemies whose level is 50 or above, excluding marks (some of The Undying are over level 50).
Once you beat a boss, note your time, target time and score and post them in the appropriate table below. I will give you a tip. Save to a new file before every boss fight and you can work on getting the best score as possible.
Once you have a score on every boss, add up your scores and submit them in the final table. Hope you enjoy it!
In the username column, put your username and link it to your userpage. Don't put your signature here!
Make sure you add your Battle Duration, Target Time and Score in the table. Failure to put either of these in and your score will be removed.
Type the Battle Duration and Target Time in the the format: mm:ss. In other words, if you beat a boss in 6 minutes and 25 seconds, you type 06:25 in the table.
If you later beat the boss again and achieve a better score, you can update your score in the table.
No proof is usually required, though I retain the right to remove a score if I believe it to be too ridiculous to be true.
When adding your score ensure that the table is sorted in alphabetical order of username by default.
Good idea Jeppo, but may I suggest to sort scores by name rather than by quantity, by default? Since it's static it's much easier to update. - Henryacores^ 18:43, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
Good idea, since the table can be made sortable by score anyway. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 18:45, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
AlVan - I'm the leading man, you know. TALK - {{{time}}}
This game is not based on levels. One of the game's superbosses is at level 7 (Long Gui). I'm not really sure how the level system in FFXIII works but we can't base the competition off of that.
Level is used for calculating how much TP you get back after battle, IIRC. -- SomeColorMage~(Talk) 23:13, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
Level is also used in calculating the target time. I've done a lot of calculations regarding levels and target time and it seems that for bosses, the first fifty levels have no impact on the target time. So other than TP and Random:Instant Chain, The first fifty levels indicate that the enemy is indeed a boss. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 15:51, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
