Hey all. Just started up a new game of Final Fantasy V. It's my first playthrough in years and I'm a little hazy on some of the specifics, particularly regarding abilities. Say I'm using a Blue Mage. When they get to job level 2, they have two abilities, Check, and Learning. One of them has an exclamation mark (!) in front of it. Does that mean it must be equiped to use, or is that just a sign for action abilities? Will a Blue Mage learn blue magic without Learning equipped? I'm guessing that's so other classes can learn blue magic, but I wasn't sure, so thought I'd ask you guys.
By the way, a team of four Blue Mages? Not all that great. Anyone else doing a 4 Job Fiesta right now? DrakemasterDrake (talk) 03:02, June 20, 2014 (UTC)
- Abilities marked by ! means it's an action ability. Blue Mages get Learning innately ofc, Check is an action ability you have to equip for them. All Job abilities must be equipped to be used in other jobs, unless it's the passive abilities of a master job which Freelancers and Mimes get for free.
