This topic is primarily for Record Keeper, and keeping track of what's changed between English and Japanese versions. For right now, I'm only keeping track of enemy abilities and enemy names via videos I'm watching. I am not going to add these to the List of Enemy Abilities page yet as I'm not sure how to handle that page now (as in, do we want to have that page be moved to Japanese Only right now and make the current page be for the English release so that it's fresh??). In any event, below this message is where we will begin. This isn't EVERYTHING an enemy might use, as I'm sure that I'll be missing several of these, and I may even mistype them so please keep this in mind before adding anything to any page. Note that some enemies are ALSO bosses, such as the Ark Dragon and Zenene, which also begs the question of how they should be handled on the List of Enemies pages too. In addition, there are several abilities that show up as "Counter X" (for example, Mist Dragon's Freezing Mist which is only used when attacked in mist form shows up as "Counter Freezing Mist"). These I feel don't need the Counter tag on them, so it'd be just Freezing Mist (which would need fixed in the enemy ability gallery section too).
i was gonna add to this list.. but literally everything you need listed here is already on the official strategy site. better to just take it from the source.--Arciele Spira (talk) 05:53, April 14, 2015 (UTC)
Wait, what? There's an English version of that site now? Well I'll be damned...thanks for finding that, that'll help with getting the information on the wiki quicker. I wonder if it's by the same guy that did the original site since it seems he's uploading multiple versions of the Soul Breaks vids in other languages.
I'm going to continue to update this as I gain more information. While the link that Spira gave helped a looooot, it's missing some things outright for enemies (Special Combatant doesn't have Wave or Handclaw listed, despite me seeing those used in the videos). So this will help keep track of what may not even be on that site too.
