Has anyone out there heard of this?
That the color of the images in the background of a FF logo, tell the how the game will end?
I heard it somewhere, around 8 years ago...but I just cannot find info on it anywhere...any ideas?
What I was told: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII were the examples...
[finished 7 so that worked..never bother with 8...so not sure]
Warm colors = Happy or complete ending...for the most part.
Azul, then how about FFX, there are variety of shades.

I think that's the point, the ending is a mixed feeling one.

I think it's bull. A couple of fans probably notice a coincidence that applied to 2-4 games, and then passed it off as "factual".

Sounds like complete bull, but what the hell, let's run with it. Spoilers within:
FF: Blue Logo. Well blue is a rather cold colour, but in the end the Light Warriors succeed and everything is put right. Sounds good to me.
FFII: Pink Logo. The Emperor is killed for good, but everyone is changed. They can no longer go back to their old life, and Leon even leaves them. Doesn't sound resolved to me.
Ok, already proved its bull with Counter-Examples, but let's keep going.
FFIII: Green Logo. Happy ending, everything is back to normal! Is green really a warm colour though?
FFIV: Blue Logo. Hey look, another happy ending! Everyone bar Kain is living it up. Good ending for cold colours. Resolved, but the new sequal is coming just for kicks.
FFV: Purple Logo. Krile thinks all her friends are dead, but they're not! Rejoice! Purple is cold, but this ending isn't.
FFVI. Red Logo. Depends on how many people you recruited I think. Not too sure.
FFVII. Cyan Logo. Ok, this is where the idiots come in. World destroyed, pretty cold, unresolved.
FFVIII. Orange Logo. Everyone is happy. Warm Logo, resolved.
FFIX. Gold Logo. Everyone is happy, resolved ending. But what about Kuja? I refuse to believe he died.
FFX. Mixed colours. No two ways about it. This is a sad, unresolved ending.
FFXII. Blue Logo. Ashe is queen again, Vaan is a Sky Pirate and Balthier can finally do what he loves again. Happy resolved ending.
I'll stop now. Obviously whoever posted this was only working with VII and VIII, which is no surprise.
