Yunalesca created the present Fayth in the game(Valefor's Fayth, Shiva's Fayth...)But there were Summoners before that, so that means that there were Fayth too, doesn't it? If so, what happened to them? And in Zanarkand, Lord Zaon's Fayth is not there anymore, so that mean he died, right? But Lord Zaon appears as an optional boss in X-2... So, the Fayth can die or not?

Summoners were also able to perform white magic and also other magic, so whether or not there were Fayth prior to Zanarkand's destruction, Summoners still had other abilities (hence why they were used during the war). Going by info given in X and X-2 there were most likely not any Fayth during this time, but it is really hard to say that's true or not. Zaon's Fayth stone held his spirit so when it was cracked and lost its power most likely released Zaon and he was able to wander freely (hence his appearance in X-2). Besides I see the Fayth to be more or less like the Unsent. 63.118.23.24 15:15, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
