Well, I just got FFVII for my PS1 and lot's of joy came to my face but then after beating that horrible Air Buster boss and when Cloud falls down below.... The game stops. Blank screen. And every 30 seconds a sort of cancel noise is played.
Naturally I thought it must be the scratches on the disc so i went ahead and got tem resurfaced, but alas. The game still worked fine, up to that point. I've done it over 5 times now and I'm left so confused. What should I do? Did I do something wrong with the game? Is the disc secretly destroying itself? Or is my PS1 making it not work because it would rather me continue plying IX?
Please give me answer. But I should probably notify the people I bought it off seeing as I did buy it second-hand online.... Oh well, better find out if it's actually my fault.10:07, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
- I encountered the same problem on my disk when I was about to enter to motorcycle part. It wouldn't work no matter how many times I had it resurfaced. You should probably let the people you bought it from know of the problem, that if it's never worked at all, since mine did used to work so it's my fault for not taking good enough care of my game. I suppose that is the best thing to do, but I'm just making sure it wasn't my fault for beating him in a certain time frame or something. But I can tell that they had gotten past there considering the condition of the other two discs.10:09, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
