Flourish

A Flourish is an ability that may be performed by Dancers in Final Fantasy XI. They are special moves that may only be utilised after one or more finishing moves. Each flourish has a different effect, which may range from damaging an enemy, to preparing yourself for a future action.

These are primarily offensive abillitys directed at your enemy.
[edit] Animated Flourish
Learned at level 20. Requires 1-3 finishing moves. Causes your target to gain emnity towards you.
[edit] Desprate Flourish
Learned at level 30. Requires 1 finishing move. inflicts a gravity effect on your target. Accuracy of move greaty depends on the evasion of your target.
[edit] Violent Flourish
Learned at level 45. Requires 1 finishing move. Stuns and damages your target. Damage inflicted is about the same as your regular weapon damage. It is possible for stun to not take effect, in these cases the damage will be shown but there will be no indication of stun. Stutter Step is believed to help the resist rate of the stun effect stick.

These are abillitys that are used to assist the player in combat.
[edit] Reverse Flourish
Learned at level 40. Uses 1-5 finishing moves. Uses all of your finishing moves and converts them to TP. 5 Finishing Moves is equal to 60TP.
- One of the options for dancer group one merits can increase the TP gained from Reverse Flourish.
[edit] Building Flourish
Learned at level 50. Requires 1-3 finishing moves. Uses finishing moves to increase accuracy, potency, and critical hit rate of your next weapon skill.
[edit] Wild Flourish
Learned at level 60. Requires 2 finishing moves. Uses 3 finishing moves to prepare your target for a skillchain. Wild Flourish acts as a weapon skill so another weapon skill must follow soon after for a skillchain to be possible.
