The Floating Eye, also known as the FloatEye, Float Eye, Floating Eyeball, or Floating Eye1, is a flying enemy encountered at the beginning of Final Fantasy IV. It has a round, plump body with one set of wings, a pair of talons on the "end" digits of each wing and foot. It has a long tail and five to six spikes on its back. It has a single huge eye and dozens of sharp teeth. Cecil kills three of them during the opening cutscene using the spell Red Wing.
