The Flanbanero is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2.
The Flanbanero is a Ravager. It learns mostly fire-elemental spells, but also learns a couple of wind-elemental spells near the end of its development. Its stat development is heavily weighted towards magic. It is also resistant against physical attacks, both innately and through its passive abilities it learns during its development. However, like most other flans, its casting animation is long and slow.

Its name is an amalgam of "flan" and "habanero". Flan refers to the recurring genus of monsters in the Final Fantasy series.
Flan is an open pastry or sponge cake containing a sweet or savory filling. A typical flan of this sort is round, with shortcrust pastry, usually coated with sweet syrup. It is similar to a custard tart or a South African melktert.
Habanero is a variety of chilli pepper, which the Flanbanero resembles physically.
- The Flanbanero was seen as a recruitable monster in the Bresha Ruins on a gameplay video before the game's release. However, it is found in the Sunleth Waterscape in the final version.
- In the early gameplay video it is seen that when Flandragora is captured its name changes to "Flanbanero".
